Inter Aide is partnering with the local health authorities to make improvements to the health services provided by the government to local communities. At the start of each year, all of the partners involved in the Child Health Programs make commitments regarding how they will support these improvements. More details of these activities and the commitments made by each partner can be found in the Program Documentation.

Some of the activities that have been undertaken to improve health service provision include:

  • Staffing and scheduling support

  • Providing supplies and equipment

  • Assistance with transport

  • Construction, rehabilitation and improvement of infrastructure (village clinics, maternity ward, maternity waiting home, etc.)
