Measuring Psychological Vulnerability: the Specific Case of Informal Dwellers in the Shanty Towns of Manila in 2013.

In 2013, Jennifer Mangeard-Lourme, who has been Program Manager for Inter Aide in the Philippines between 2009 and 2011 has worked on a validation study aiming at developing a tool kit capable of measuring the different dimensions of psychological vulnerability in the specific context of extreme urban poverty, through the admnistration of six questionnaires and scales to 50 families living in the shanty town of Manila, Philippines and enrolled in the Family Development Program of Inter Aide.

This research project has been conducted in partnership with the Psychology Division of Nottingham Trent University.
