This website explains the activities Inter Aide is doing in Malawi concerning access to water and improvement of hygiene and sanitation ; with an important focus on the programme dedicated to the maintenance of the hand pumps which are equipping wells and boreholes. Indeed, Inter Aide with its local partner BASEDA (and its local branch TIMMS for the south of the country) developped and are following networks of hand pump mechanics and spare parts retailers.

On the webiste there are explanations of the methodology and tools used, as well as the results measured.
