Activities

  • Raising awareness among families to good hygiene and sanitation practices
  • Supporting rural communities and their villages in the construction and rehabilitation of protected hydraulic installations (equipped wells and boreholes)
  • Train and support communities to improve their sanitation
  • Strengthen the capacity of village committees to manage the equipment
  • Set up and strengthen a system for the maintenance of facilities by users (craftsmen-repairers and approved resellers of pump spare parts)
  • Strengthen the capacities of local authorities (Regional Water Department and rural communes) for the implementation of a communal “Public Water Service”
